CHOICE OF SELECTION CRITERIONS OF LESS FAVOURED AREAS

SUMMARY

There are investigated the methodical problems of selection of less favoured areas in the paper. Taking into account the experience of states of Europe Union and regional features of Lithuanian rural and agriculture, it is suggested the selection of these areas to implement according to the indexes of natural and demographic factors, also the economical results of farming. Trying to simplify the selection it is suggested that each district municipality would calculate integrated index of mentioned factors and results - total coefficient of farming favour and according to it would implement the selection of less favoured areas.
