Projects
IT development: computer and Internet solutions for businessmen in Marijampole region The general purpose of the project was to improve the qualification, skills and entrepreneurship of the persons for whom it is difficult to integrate into the labor market. Project helped for the participants of the training courses to adapt themselves to the changing market conditions, they will better correspond to local and regional needs, and will have better possibilities of finding the desired job in compliance with their qualifications. The project was intended for the clarification of the most important needs of the persons for whom it is difficult to integrate into the labor market, to raise their qualifications, to develop their entrepreneurship through the usage of the information technologies possibilities. Basing on the results of the research performed there was prepared a specialized training program, methodological training means and training courses organized for the persons interested in this. There were 36 people from 16 till 25 years age from Kazlu Ruda district trained in computer literacy and basic business management. After the participants passed the exams they received ECDL certificates and certification for basic business management education courses. To organize the projected training courses we installed a computer class and organized 12 work places, (8 of them brand new) connected through one server and have an Internet access, graphic image representation and all the projected software at the Kazlu Ruda Business Incubator. During training courses the participants where introduced to business management and planning, preparation and management of innovation projects, the usage of information technologies for business encouragement (e.g. enterprise computerization, e-commerce, search for clients and partners etc.), and there where possibilities established for them of working individually in a computer class with consultants' assistance. The project aims that the persons having completed the training courses should acquire knowledge and easier find a job and better correspond to the needs of employers, use new knowledge on business management and innovation implementation fulfilling their direct official duties and use the possibilities granted by information technologies (e.g. search for business information, placing their own information material on the Internet, e-correspondence, organization of banking settlement, and e-commerce, computerized accounting etc.) During the project 3 groups of students finished courses in Kazlu Ruda. Computers and economic courses they had 4-5 times per week. All students received the certificates - ECDL. There are created 36 e-mail addresses in courses. Also students grew up in to the field of economic. The themes of economic courses are: the business planning, finance, control and management, marketing, project management, the searching, management of information (e-business). There where information articles about project implementation and activities printed in regional press: Project experts have been working with local media representatives for describing project aims all the time during project implementation. Therefore this project is mentioned in other articles, describing regional business development and education programs in Marijampple region. The information is also spreading each month in the websites www.krvi.lt, www.lrti.lt of project partners.
